The Heart of Jesus
We are three days into our red-letter bible study, and it is already become more profound than I had ever imagined. As most on this podcast know, we develop a lot of this content with A.I. but what you may not know is how we treat A.I. We have set it up so get solid, biblical answers back. Before A.I., we had access to things like the Strong's reference, the Thompson Chain reference and a myriad of other cross referencing and hyperlinked systems. A.I. has just made (for me) the Bible more accessible, but it's really no different than one of those other methods. That said, there is no heart, no soul, no real emotion in the responses from A.I. or any other text. That comes from deep within you. You see in the dialog in the notes where we leave the conversation with A.I. out there so the reader can see the nature of how the content is developed.
When we looked at Jesus' response to Satan, we are often taught how Jesus responded to Satan with scriptural quotes. While that is true, I think it misses the point. Further, the very reason we created this study is to address the point that so many miss. We are not looking for knowledge, we're looking for a connection. I'm not an overly emotional person so I have to really dig deep for that connection. I'm really good at responding with the knowledge, I thrive on it. But I know that having the knowledge is not the same as having the heart.
I hope this will help others on the same journey to see through the knowledge and the words and connect to the very heart of Jesus. In this case, you may gain more from the notes than the audio; up to you. Either way - your goal is to seek the connection, not just the answers.
