Letter to Philadelphia - Staying Faithful in a Hostile Environment

Short letter, long podcast! Jesus loved Philadelphia and we dig deep to understand what is not obvious when you just skim the surface. Remember, Philadelphia, culturally is not all that different from the other churches and cities. Yet, they were able to maintain a steadfast and undeniable faith in an otherwise hostile environment. What's interesting (at least to me) is there is something beautiful about modeling the Philadelphians. We don't have to go as far as the Amish (who definitely set themselves apart), but there is something to be said for minimizing, eliminating your distractions, keeping things simple and becoming uniquely useful within your local community - apart from the work, job, world stuff you're caught up in.
