Daniel - The End

Daniel Chapter 11 beginning at verse 35 shifts to the end times. This is basically Daniel's version of the book of revelation. One can't help but speculate about this considering the world events as they are unfolding today. This is in many ways feeling all too real. We also go down the rabbit hole of rapture timing. Prophecy covers over 30% of the Bible in context. It is meant to be studied, to be understood. We recognize that speculation can lead some to anxiety. We tend to think of it more as a fictional overlay to help picture what the Bible is saying. Ultimately, you can only apply real world events onto prophecy after it has come true! Still, it is human nature to want to know. In my old job, I didn't like the internal politics of working inside a large company. My boss said to me one day something I'll never forget: "You don't have to be political; you just have to be politically astute. All speculation aside, ultimately, we should turn our attention not to the world but to God's answer to the world.
